Li Mingxiang Attends the Opening Ceremony of the Webinar for FRELIMO Senior Cadres

Beijing, September 21st—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of CPC (IDCPC), attended here the opening ceremony of the webinar for senior cadres of Liberation Front of Mozambique (FRELIMO) and delivered a speech. On behalf the Minister Song Tao and the IDCPC, Li congratulated on the opening of the webinar and introduced the main content and global significance of third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and the effort of China in coordinating the epidemic control and social and economic development. He noted that China is willing to, together with Mozambique, implement the outcomes of the Extraordinary China-Africa Summit on Solidarity against COVID-19, further exchange experience on state governance, practice multilateralism, fight against the undertows of blame games, unilateralism and bullying, and lead the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership of China and Mozambique forward to build a closer community with shared future for China and Africa.

On behalf of the FRELIMO General Secretary Roque Silva Samuel, Alcido Nguenha, Secretary of Organization of FRELIMO Central Committee, congratulated on the 99th anniversary of the CPC, praised highly the significant strategic outcomes of China in epidemic control under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and China’s leading role in international cooperation against COVID-19. He expressed that FRELIMO will further draw on the experience of the CPC in coordinating epidemic control and social and economic development and deepen cooperation between the two Parties and countries in all aspects to take the relations between the two countries to new levels.

The 3-day webinar was attended by more than 20 mid-level and senior cadres from FRELIMO. Both sides will have discussions on topics such as the resumption of work and production under regular epidemic prevention and control, poverty alleviation, Party building, and China-Africa relations in the new era.
