Qian Hongshan Meets with Newly-appointed Moldovan Ambassador to China Dumitru Braghiș

Beijing, September 23rd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the afternoon with the newly-appointed Moldovan Ambassador to China Dumitru Braghiș.

Qian welcomed Braghis on his assumption of the new post in China and spoke positively of China-Moldova relations and cooperation in COVID-19 response between both countries. Qian expressed the IDCPC’s readiness to enhance cooperation with the Moldovan Embassy in China, and further intensify exchanges between political parties of the two countries, so as to push China-Moldova relations for constant development. 

Braghis said that Moldova attaches great importance to its relations with China and appreciates China’s support and assistance to its fight against the pandemic. Moldova is willing to work with China to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Moldovan Embassy in China is ready to play a positive role in promoting exchanges between the two countries’ political parties.
