Beijing, September 24th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), held a video meeting here on the afternoon with Dogu Perincek, Chairman of Patriotic Party of Turkey. They jointly attended the opening ceremony of the webinar for cadres of the Patriotic Party.

Speaking positively of relations between the two Parties and countries and bilateral cooperation in fighting the COVID-19, Zhu said that the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Patriotic Party, continue to support each other on issues concerning each other's core interests and major concerns, and push forward China-Turkey strategic cooperative relations. On behalf of Minister Song Tao and the IDCPC, Zhu congratulated the webinar on its opening and mainly briefed on China's economic and social development and great anti-epidemic spirit against the backdrop of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control in China.

Perincek spoke highly of the relations between the two Parties, appreciated the great spirit of China in fighting the COVID-19, and opposed the stigmatization of China by the United States. He stressed that the Patriotic Party attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to deepen pragmatic cooperation between the two sides through inter-party channels.

The two-day webinar will be attended by nearly 60 senior and middle-level cadres as well as young representatives from the Patriotic Party of Turkey. All participants will have in-depth exchanges on such topics as Party building, anti-epidemic cooperation, poverty elimination and the Belt and Road cooperation.
