Beijing, October 13th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held video exchanges with Andrzej Szejna, Deputy Head of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) of Poland and Vice Chairman of the Polish-Chinese Parliamentary Group.

Speaking positively of China-Poland relations and bilateral cooperation in COVID-19 response, Qian said, the CPC attaches importance to its traditional and friendly relations with the SLD, and is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation between the two parties under the new circumstances to promote the development of China-Poland comprehensive strategic partnership.

Szejna spoke highly of China’s achievements in fighting the COVID-19 and in poverty alleviation, and said that the rapid development of the Belt and Road cooperation showcases China’s international influence. The SLD is willing to further intensify exchanges between the two parties, enhance exchanges of experience on state governance and administration and play a positive role in developing Poland-China relations.
