Qian Hongshan Has Conversation via Videolink with Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Russia

Beijing, October 14th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had a conversation here today via videolink with Dmitry Novikov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Russia, exchanging views on the relations between the two parties and the two countries.

Qian said, the CPC attaches importance to its traditional and friendly relations with the Communist Party of Russia. The two sides have always maintained close exchanges and rendered each other firm support amid the COVID-19. The CPC is willing to deepen institutional friendly exchanges with the Communist Party of Russia, actively implemented the consensus reached by the two heads of state, and make greater efforts to push forward China-Russia relations in the new era. Qian also mainly briefed on the main content of the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China.

Novikov congratulated the Chinese side on successfully holding the International Seminar on Poverty Eradication and Responsibility of Political Parties, and said that the Communist Party of Russia is willing to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and learn China’s successful experience in the COVID-19 containment and poverty alleviation, so as to contribute to Russia-China relations.
