Qian Hongshan Holds Video Talks with Leaders of Five Star Movement of Italy

Beijing, November 4th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held video talks here on the afternoon with Vito Rosario Petrocelli, Head of the International Relations of the Five Star Movements and President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of Italy and Ettore Antonio Licheri, the group leader in the Senate for the Five Star Movement.

Qian spoke positively of the relations between the two parties and two countries, and briefed on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Qian said, the CPC is willing to, on the basis of the four principles for party-to-party relations, further dialogues and exchanges with Five Star Movement, so as to make contributions to China-Italy relations.

Petrocelli spoke highly of China’s achievements in combating the COVID-19, and said that Five Star Movement hopes to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC, enhance mutual understanding and promote Italy-China and EU-China relations.
