On November 17th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a conversation via videolink with Marko Djuric, Vice President of the Progressive Party of Serbia (SNS), during which he briefed on the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Qian mainly briefed on the background, significance and important results of the Fifth Plenary Session, and emphasized that during the 14th Five-Year period, China will promote high-quality development, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and implement a high-level opening-up to the outside world, which will certainly provide new opportunities for China-Serbia relations and practical cooperation between both countries. The CPC is willing to deepen friendly exchanges with the SNS and jointly promote the continuous and in-depth development of the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership.

Djuric congratulated China on its brilliant achievements during the 13th Five-Year period, spoke highly of the future development plan approved by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and expressed his belief that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, China will surely achieve the goals set at the Fifth Plenary Session, and bring new opportunities for the development of countries in the world, including Serbia. The SNS is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and open up new prospects for Serbia-China relations.
