Qian Hongshan Holds a Video Call with Korneliya Ninova, Leader of Bulgarian Socialist Party

On January 21st, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call with Korneliya Ninova, Leader of Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Qian said that the CPC is willing to deepen friendly exchanges with the BSP, enhance exchanges in experience of state governance and administration, and work together to promote the continuous and in-depth development of China-Bulgaria strategic partnership, the Belt and Road Initiative and the 17+1 cooperation under the initiative. Qian also briefed on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee as well as the main information of the Central Economic Work Conference.

Ninova expressed her warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the successful convening of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. She thanked China for its support and assistance to Bulgaria during the epidemic, and emphasized that Bulgaria is willing to strengthen bilateral practical cooperation in various fields. Attaching great importance to the development of traditional friendly relations with the CPC, the BSP hopes to learn from the CPC’s experience in poverty eradication and other fields to promote continuous new progress in Bulgaria-China relations.
