On the afternoon of January 21st, Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video conference with Ahmad Hariri, Secretary-General of the Future Movement (FM) of Lebanon.

Speaking positively of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries and the cooperation between China and Lebanon in the fight against the epidemic, Zhu said that the CPC is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the FM on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Lebanon, and actively give play to the political leading role of intra-party exchanges in developing China-Lebanon relations. Zhu also briefed on the CPC's achievements during the past 100 years since its founding  and the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Ahmed spoke highly of the great achievements made by the CPC for the past 100 years since its founding, and firmly believed that the CPC will continue to make new and greater achievements under the wise leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping. The FM attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to continue to promote the development of Lebanon-China relations through inter-party channels.
