Beijing, January 26th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held talks here today with Ioan Bălan, Vice-President of the National Liberal Party (PNL) of Romania via videolink.

Qian made positive remarks about the relations between the two countries and two parties, saying that the CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and mutual learning, strengthen political mutual trust, and facilitate mutual cooperation in various areas with the PNL. Qian also mainly introduced the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the special address by President Xi Jinping at the World Economic Forum Virtual Event of the Davos Agenda.

Bălan congratulated China on the huge success on epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development in a coordinated manner. Bălan said the PNL is willing to strengthen exchanges with the CPC and further tap into the potential of bilateral practical cooperation, so as to push Romania and China relations for continuous development.
