Beijing, January 26th—Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the closing ceremony of webinar for cadres of the Islamic Motalefe Party of Iran here on the afternoon with H.E. Badamchian, General Secretary of the Islamic Motalefe Party of Iran.

Zhu spoke positively of the relations between the two parties and two countries, particularly the anti-epidemic cooperation. Zhu said that the CPC is willing to, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the fifth anniversary of China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership, further deepen friendly cooperation with the Islamic Motalefe Party, support each other’s core interests, strengthen communication and mutual learning on concept, enhance the friendship between the two peoples, facilitate practical cooperation between the two countries, and push China-Iran relations for continuous progress. Zhu also mainly introduced the achievements and experience of the CPC since its founding 100 years ago, the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and the spirit of the special address by President Xi Jinping at the World Economic Forum Virtual Event of the Davos Agenda.

Badamchian warmly congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the CPC, and spoke highly of the great achievements the Chinese people have made under the leadership of the CPC, and the CPC’s extraordinary contributions to world peace and human being’s wellbeing. Badamchian thanked the Chinese side for supporting Iran’s fight against the epidemic, and stressed that the Islamic Motalefe Party is willing to work with the CPC to further reinforce exchanges and cooperation in politics, economy, anti-epidemic, and media, and give play to the special advantages of intra-party exchanges, so as to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and China.
