Beijing, February 2nd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Tilvar Angel, International Secretary of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania

Speaking highly of the traditional friendship between the two parties and the two countries, Qian said that the CPC is willing to deepen friendly exchanges with the PSD and strengthen experience exchanges in state governance and administration to inject new momentum into the development of China-Romania relations. Qian also briefed on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the special address by President Xi Jinping at the World Economic Forum Virtual Event of the Davos Agenda.

Tilvar said that the PSD is willing to use inter-party exchanges to help bilateral cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy and trade, as well as people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and promote new progress in the cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries and China and the relations between the European Union and China.
