Beijing, February 26th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today at request with Andrey Denisov, Russian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of the fruitful results achieved in the high-level development of China-Russia relations, Qian said that the IDCPC is willing to work with the Russian side to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and take the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation Between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation as an opportunity to deepen party-to-party exchanges between the two countries, actively promote institutionalized cooperation between the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and related departments, so as to continue to contribute to the development of China-Russia relations in the new era.

Denisov congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and said that the Russian Embassy in China will spare no efforts to promote the exchanges between the two offices and related departments, assist in promoting friendly exchanges between the major Russian political parties and the CPC, and promote cooperation between Russia and China in various fields for greater achievements.
