Beijing, March 9th—Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video conference here today on the afternoon with Ahmed Majdalani, Secretary General of the Popular Struggle Front of Palestine, Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee and Minister of Social Development of the State of Palestine

Zhu spoke positively of the traditional friendship between China and Palestine as well as the friendly relations between the two parties and two countries. He noted that CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front in various fields and inject new impetus into the development of China-Palestine relations through intra-party channels. Zhu also briefed on the achievements and experience of the CPC since its founding 100 years ago and achievements in poverty alleviation, and elaborated on the Chinese side’s principles and position on the Palestinian issue.

Majdalani congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and China’s overall victory in poverty alleviation, and also said that the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front is ready to strengthen cooperation and join hands with the CPC to promote Palestine-China relations for greater development and help build a community with a shared future for mankind. Majdalani reiterated that the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front will continue to firmly support the Chinese side on issues concerning to Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
