Zhu Rui Meets with Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, New-appointed Israeli Ambassador to China

Beijing, March 17th--Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, newly-appointed Israeli Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Israel relations, Zhu stressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with all friendly political parties in Israel to inject impetus into the development of China-Israel innovative comprehensive partnership. Zhu briefed on the CPC’s achievements made over the past century, the 14th Five-Year Plan and China's NPC and CPPCC Sessions, and elaborated on China's principled position on the Palestinian issue and the Iranian nuclear issue.

Irit Ben-Abba Vitale highly commended China's achievements in economic and social development and expressed the willingness to take the opportunity of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries next year to actively promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields, including party-to-party exchanges, so as to elevate the Israel-China relations to a new level.
