Beijing, March 19th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended and addressed the second meeting of Asian Cultural Council, a subsidiary of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties via video link.

Guo mainly briefed on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. He stated that the 14th Five-Year Plan has brought important opportunities for China and Asian countries to deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation. The CPC is willing to continue to join hands with political parties in Asian countries to strengthen cooperation, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and create a better future.

Representatives of the political parties congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and expressed their expectation to continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC in various fields, such as culture, so as to promote the common prosperity and development of Asia.
