The CPC and the Madagascar Coalition: We Are All With Andry Rajoelina Hold a Cadre Webinar

Beijing, April 27th—The CPC and the Madagascar Coalition: We Are All With Andry Rajoelina held a cadre webinar via videolink. The webinar was themed on “the role of the ruling party in agricultural development and poverty alleviation”. Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC); Sui Zhongcheng, Vice Governor of Hunan Province; and Alder, Member of the Political Bureau of the Madagascar Coalition: We Are All With Andry Rajoelina and National Coordinator attended and addressed the event. Nearly 30 middle and senior party and government officials, including Christine Razanamahasoa, President of the Madagascar’s National Assembly; Razafimahefa Herimanana, President of the Senate; and Tinoka Roberto Michael Raharoarilala, Minister of Youth and Sports attended the event.

On behalf of Minister Song Tao and the IDCPC, Li congratulated on the opening of the webinar, and briefed on the great achievements the CPC made in the past 100 years since its founding, especially the experience of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in leading China to tackle poverty since the 18th CPC National Congress. He said the CPC is willing to work with the Madagascar Coalition: We Are All With Andry Rajoelina to establish a new type of political inert-party relationship featuring seeking common ground while reserving differences, mutual respect and mutual learning, strengthen high-level exchanges and strategic communication, carry out exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, and promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields to better benefit the two peoples.

Sui mainly briefed on the situation and practice of agricultural development, poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in Hunan Province, and said that Hunan Province is willing to further deepen pragmatic cooperation with Madagascar in agriculture, economy, trade, and tourism, so as to make greater contributions to the Belt and Road cooperation.

Alder congratulated the CPC on its 100th anniversary, highly appreciated the great achievements made by the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping at the core in leading Chinese people in poverty reduction, agriculture, science and technology. He said that Madagascar is willing to learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration, promote the integration between the Madagascar Revitalization Plan and the Belt and Road Initiative, and work together to build a closer community with a shared future between China and Africa.

During the two-day seminar, the two sides will carry out exchanges on further deepening the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and hold activities such as visiting township Party committees in Hunan and learn the experience and achievement of Hunan’s agricultural development and poverty alleviation via videolink.
