Zhu Rui Holds a Video Call with Bol Makueng Yuol, Secretary for External Affairs of Sudan People's Liberation Movement

Beijing, April 27th— Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Bol Makueng Yuol, Secretary for External Affairs of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM). Hua Ning, Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan were present.

Zhu made positive comments on the positive results in bilateral cooperation in various fields in the past decade since the establishment of the diplomatic relations. He emphasized that the CPC attaches great importance to the friendly relations and  cooperation with SPLM, and that the CPC stands ready to deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields and to further the experience exchanges in state governance and administration, so as to push forward bilateral relations. Zhu also briefed on the CPC's governance achievements and experience since its founding 100 years ago.

Makueng warmly congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and spoke highly of the great achievements made by Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC. He thanked China for the valuable supports in the peaceful development in South Sudan and in its combat against the Covid-19, saying that SPLM is willing to draw experiences on party and state governance from the CPC. It is hoped that both side could promote practical cooperation in such fields as infrastructure and food security thought inter-party channels, in a bid to jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.
