Song said, under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Bolivian leaders, China-Bolivia strategic partnership has steadily advanced, with fruitful and cooperation in various fields. The ruling parties of the two countries have maintained close exchanges at all levels and supported each other on issues involving core interests and major concerns. At present, with changes and a pandemic both unseen in a century, the Communist Party of China(CPC) is willing to strengthen strategic communication with the Movement for Socialism of Bolivia, deepen experience exchanges on state governance and administration, promote pragmatic cooperation through intra-party channels, and continue to provide support for Bolivia’s fight against the pandemic. The two parties are willing to continuously strengthen international coordination, resolutely oppose hegemonism and power politics, oppose interference in other countries’ internal affairs, jointly safeguard international fairness and justice, defend the interests of developing countries, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Song focused on the great achievements and successful experiences of the CPC in the past 100 years, as well as the ongoing study and education of the history of CPC. He said that since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, all undertakings in China have undergone historic changes and made historic achievements. China won a complete victory in the battle against poverty, and all rural population defined as poor by current standards were lifted out of poverty. At present, China is implementing the new development concept, constructing a new development pattern and realizing a higher level of opening to the outside world, which not only injects new impetus into its own economic and social development, but also provides more development opportunities for all countries in the world including Bolivia. It is believed that under the leadership of President Evo Morales, the Movement for Socialism will surely lead the Bolivian people to create a better future.

Morales warmly congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the CPC, spoke highly of the outstanding achievements of the Chinese people in pandemic prevention and control and economic and social development under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core, and expressed his gratitude to China for providing support to Bolivia in fighting the pandemic. Morales said that the Movement for Socialism attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with the CPC, and hopes that the two sides will continue to strengthen inter-party exchanges, deepen exchanges of experience, and strengthen cooperation in various fields, such as anti-pandemic, economic and trade, infrastructure and so on. Bolivia will resolutely fight against hegemonism, firmly follow the development path that suits its national conditions, and hope to maintain communication with China in international and regional affairs and contribute to world peace and development.
