On May 27th, at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Ambassadors to China from 16 countries, including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Singapore, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, attended the exchange activities under the theme of "review the history of CPC, and continue traditional friendship". Ambassadors visited the large-scale themed exhibition the Road of Rejuvenation: New Era held by the National Museum of China and photos of the Party's external work exhibited by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee where they had a symposium later. Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the relevant activities.

Song Tao said that since its founding 100 years ago, the CPC has brought about a leap forward whereby the Chinese people have gone from regaining dignity to becoming prosperous and strong. In particular, since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core and the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, China has made historic progress in economic and social development and undergone historic transformation. China has completed the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects on schedule and embarked on a new journey toward becoming a modern socialist country.

Song Tao pointed out that over the past century, the CPC has been committed to combining the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s practical realities and constantly pursued a path that is suited to China’s national conditions. China's historic achievements have proved that China’s socialist path with its own characteristics is the right path for the development of contemporary China. The CPC has always taken the people's aspiration for a better life as its goal and the new and greater contributions to mankind as its mission. The CPC is ready to strengthen exchanges with political parties of other countries, deepen political mutual trust, advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Andrey Denisov, Russian Ambassador to China and other Ambassadors to China warmly congratulated the CPC on its 100th anniversary and spoke highly of the great achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core over the past 100 years, especially since the 18th National Congress of the CPC. The Ambassadors said that through the exchange activities, they gained a better understanding of the history of the CPC, were impressed by the people-centered philosophy of the CPC, and gained a deeper understanding of the reasons for China's current development achievements and status as a world's major country. The Ambassadors also said they would promote exchanges of governance experience between their political parties and the CPC and deepen cooperation in various fields under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, to jointly promote world peace and development.
