Qian Hongshan Holds a Video Call with Three Representatives of the Communist Party and the Workers’ Party of Central and Eastern Europe

Beijing, June 2nd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Gyula Thürmer, Chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, Jaroslav Roman, head of international relations of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, and Angel Georgiev Ivanov Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Socialist Party.

Qian spoke positively of the friendly relations between CPC and the three parties, saying that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the three parties, and promote the development of national relations and the Belt and Road Initiative, so as to jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.

The foreign participants expressed their warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and spoke highly of the brilliant achievements made by the CPC over the past century. Besides, they expressed the willingness to boost exchanges between political parties and cooperation in various fields under the new situation.
