Beijing, June 7th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here at noon with Laurent Bili, French Ambassador to China.
Speaking positively of China-France relations, Qian said that China is willing to work with France to overcome the difficulties brought about by the epidemic, maintain exchanges and dialogues at all levels, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and promote the sustained and healthy development of China-France comprehensive strategic partnership.
Laurent Bili said that France-China relations now enjoy smooth development. France is willing to take the presidency of the European Union (EU) in the first half of 2022 as an opportunity to promote the further development of EU-China relations.
