Li Mingxiang Attends the Opening Ceremony of Webinar for Senior Cadres of Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO)

Beijing, June 11th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended and addressed here today the opening ceremony of the webinar for senior cadres of the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO). Wang Hejun, Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique, and Maria Gustava, Mozambican Ambassador to China were present. On behalf of Minister Song Tao and the IDCPC, Li congratulated on the opening of the webinar, and mainly briefed on the achievements and experience of the CPC since its founding 100 years ago. He expressed that the CPC is willing to work with the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Filipe Nyusi, strengthen the exchange of experience in state governance, promote practical cooperation in various fields, support each other in safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests, and work together to lift the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Mozambique to new highs.

Roque Silva Samuel, General Secretary of the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO), congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the CPC in his speech, spoke highly of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and thanked China for its long-term and selfless support for the development of Mozambique. He expressed that the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) is willing to learn from the CPC’s experience on party governance and state administration and promote continuous new progress in cooperation between the two countries in various fields to benefit the two peoples.
