Li Mingxiang Attends the Opening Ceremony of Webinar for PFDJ Cadres of Eritrea

Beijing, June 23rd—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minster of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended and addressed here today the opening ceremony of webinar for cadres of People's Front for Democracy & Justice (PFDJ) of Eritrea. Cai Ge, Chinese Ambassador to Eritrea, attended the webinar via videolink. On behalf of Minister Song Tao and the IDCPC, Li congratulated on the opening of the webinar, and mainly briefed on the achievements and experience of the 100th anniversary of the CPC’s founding. Li said that the CPC is willing to work with the PFDJ to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Isaias Afwerki, strengthen the exchange of experience in state governance, promote practical cooperation in various fields, maintain international fairness and justice, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Yemane Ghebreab, Head of Political Affairs of the PFDJ, congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the CPC’s founding in his speech, and spoke highly of the historic achievements made by China under the CPC’s leadership over the past 100 years. Appreciating China’s important role in the international arena, Yemane expressed the PFDJ’s willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and continue to expand the cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
