Beijing, October 25th—Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today the opening ceremony of the webinar for cadres of the Coordination Committee of Party's Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) of Egypt and delivered a speech. About 30 representatives who serve as Egyptian deputy provincial governors and members of parliament in the Coordination Committee of the CPYP were present.

Zhu spoke positively of China-Egypt relations, highly praised the Egyptian side’s firm support for the Chinese side on issues related to Xinjiang, Taiwan and the South China Sea. He said, held on the occasion of the CPC’s centenary, and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt, the webinar is conducive to further promoting concept exchanges, mutual learning on experience and friendly cooperation, and contributing to China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership. Zhu also mainly introduced China’s whole-process people’s democracy and the spirit of the speech by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Conference Marking the 50th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Lawful Seat of the People's Republic of China in the United Nations.

Ebrahim Al-Shehaby, Deputy Governor of Giza Province and other members from the CPYP, warmly congratulated the CPC on its centenary and highly commended the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. They stressed the CPYP values friendly exchanges with the CPC, and is looking forward to learn the advanced experience in economic transformation, poverty alleviation, education and environmental protection from the CPC in a in-depth manner, so as to make greater contributions to the development of China-Egypt relations.
