Li Mingxiang Attends Symposium Co-hosted by Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and the All Progressives Congress of Nigeria

Beijing, November 15th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant Minister of International Department of the CPC Central Committee(IDCPC), attended and addressed upon invitation here today the symposium “Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind: the Ruling Party’s Mission and Contribution of” co-hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and the All Progressives Congress(APC) of Nigeria. On behalf of the IDCPC and Song Tao Minister of IDCPC, Li congratulated on the success of the symposium and introduced the significance and important achievements of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He stated that the ruling party should take a proactive role in shouldering the responsibilities endowed by the history, make unremitting efforts and new contributions to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Under the new circumstances, the CPC stands ready to work with the APC in leading both sides to accelerate the implementation of the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Muhammadu Buhari. Both sides should enhance experience exchanges in state governance and administration, promote the common values of humanity, and jointly be the leaders, practitioners and contributors to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

John Akpanudoedehe, National Secretary of APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, extended his warm congratulations in his address on the 100th anniversary of the CPC. He spoke highly of the global significance of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for China’s long-standing support for Nigeria’s social and economic development. He also expressed the APC’s willingness to learn the successful practices in governance from the CPC, expand practical cooperation in various sectors and continuously deepen China-Nigeria strategic partnership.
