Beijing, January 21th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), held a video talk here today on the afternoon with Daniel Chongolo, Secretary General of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) of Tanzania.

Speaking positively of China-Tanzania relations, Li said, China and Tanzania enjoy a long-standing friendship, which has been consolidated with the passing of time. The ruling parties of both countries have been playing an important leading role in promoting the development of the relations between our two countries. Under the new circumstances, the Communist Party of China (CPC) stands ready to work with the CCM to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties, increase experience exchanges on state governance and administration, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, so as to constantly enrich the content of China-Tanzania comprehensive cooperative partnership.

Chongolo highly praised the CPC for its achievements over the past century and spoke positively of the remarkable contributions China has made to promoting friendly cooperation between Tanzania and China. Chongolo said, the CCM looks forward to strengthening mutual learning and exchanges of experience with the CPC on state governance and administration, pushing for greater development of China-Tanzania relations in the new era, and making positive contributions to building a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.
