Chen Zhou Holds a Video Call with Upendra Yadav, PSP-N Chairman and Former Deputy Nepali Prime Minister

Beijing, February 25th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held here today on the morning a video call with Upendra Yadav, Chairman of People’s Socialist Party, Nepal (PSP-N) and former deputy Prime Minister of Nepal.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Chen said, the Chinese side firmly supports Nepal's independent choice of development path, and is willing to continue to provide support within China’s capacity for Nepal's economic and social development. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchange of experience in party governance and state administration with the PSP-N, and contribute to the Belt and Road cooperation and the Trans-Himalayan Multi-dimensional Connectivity Network, so as to benefit the two countries and the two peoples.

Yadav noted, Nepal and China are good friends and good neighbors who respect each other and help each other. The Nepali side will never allow any force to engage in anti-China separatist activities in Nepal's territory, and hopes to enhance exchanges and cooperation in party building, and economic and social development with the CPC, to contribute to the cause of Nepal-China friendship and cooperation.
