Song said, during the Beijing Winter Olympics, General Secretary Xi Jinping met with Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the Mongolian People's Party and Mongolian Prime Minister, who came to China to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics. The meeting has charted the course for the further development of China-Mongolia relations. The exchanges between political parties play an important political leading role in the development of bilateral relations. The CPC is willing to maintain close communication with all political parties in Mongolia through various means, implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two sides, and provide political impetus for advancing the integration of development strategies of both countries, deepening practical cooperation, and enhancing people-to-people bonds, so as to promote China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership for healthy and stable development.

Badral said that the successful holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics as scheduled has enhanced the global confidence in defeating the COVID-19. Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics and paid a working visit to China, during which he had an in-depth exchanges of views with General Secretary Xi Jinping and the two leaders reached important consensus.
