Zhu Rui Attends Opening Ceremony of China-Palestine Anti-Corruption Seminar and Opening Ceremony of Webinar for Fatah Officials of Palestine

Beijing, March 29th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today the opening ceremony of the China-Palestine anti-corruption seminar and the opening ceremony of the webinar for Fatah officials of Palestine and delivered a speech. Abbas Zaki, Member of Fatah Central Committee and Palestinian Fatah Party Commissioner for Relations with Arab Countries and China, Raed Radwan, Commissioner of Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission, Nayef Jarad, Director-General of the Palestine Institute for National Security Researches and more than 50 senior and mid-level Palestinian officials attended the event.

Zhu spoke positively of the relationship between China and Palestine, saying that China and Palestine are good friends and brothers who always support and stand alongside each other. China appreciates the Palestinian side for its valuable support on issues related to China's core interests and major concerns, and will firmly support the just cause of the Palestinian people as always. Zhu stressed, the CPC attaches great importance to developing its friendly relations with Fatah. It is believed that this seminar will further strengthen the exchange of experience in state governance and administration between the two Parties and push forward the development of China-Palestine relations. Zhu also briefed on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the Two Sessions.

Zaki and others from the Palestinian side thanked China for its consistent support for the Palestinian side and expressed their willingness to learn from the CPC's rich experience in improving Party conduct and building a clean government. Fatah is willing to deepen its friendly relations with the CPC, further strengthen the exchanges and mutual understanding between the two Parties in anti-corruption and poverty alleviation, in a bid to make greater contributions to the development of Palestine-China relations.

Cai Wei, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, introduced the achievements and experiences of the CPC in strengthening self-improvement and self-reform, and promoting strict governance over the Party and the fight against corruption. Cai said, the Chinese side is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with Palestine in anti-corruption.
