Beijing, April 25th—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had a video call here today with Landing Savané, General Secretary of the And-Jëf/African Party for Democracy and Socialism of Senegal.

Li positively spoke of the relations between the two Parties and appreciated that the And-Jëf/African Party for Democracy and Socialism has always firmly adhered to the one-China principle. He said, the CPC is willing to, together with the And-Jëf/African Party for Democracy and Socialism, strengthen friendly exchanges, deepen concept exchanges, promote practical cooperation and people-to-people bonds between the two countries through inter-party channels, and promote the implementation of the outcomes of the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, so as to benefit the peoples of China, Senegal, and Africa. Li briefed on the decisive significance of the establishment of Comrade Xi Jinping's core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the defining of the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era put forward at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He emphasized that the key to the great achievements of the CPC's struggle in the new era lies in adhering to the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, in adhering to the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times, and in adhering to the people-centered development philosophy.

Savané expressed his sincere admiration for the historic achievements of the CPC under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core. He said, the And-Jëf/African Party for Democracy and Socialism is willing to, together with the CPC, further strengthen exchanges and mutual learning on party building and state governance, promote the in-depth development of cooperation between our two countries in various fields, and jointly safeguard fairness and justice of the world.
