Beijing, May 10th—The International Department of the CPC Central Committee held here today the webinar for cadres of the Congolese Labor Party themed on the theory and practice of explorations of the ruling parties of China and the Republic of Congo in development paths that suit national conditions. Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Gabriel Ondongo, Member of the Political Bureau and Permanent Secretary in charge of the organization and mobilization of the Congolese Labor Party attended and addressed the event. Twenty senior and middle-level cadres from the Congolese side, Ma Fulin, Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Roger Emmanuel OBA, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Congo in China and others were present.

Li emphatically briefed on the CPC's achievements and experience in the new era. He emphasized that the key judgment about the “five paths China must take” put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping has further deepened the CPC’s understanding of the laws that underlie governance by a Communist party, the development of socialism, and the evolution of human society, and profoundly revealed a successful path of China in the new era. Li said, the CPC is willing to, together with the Congolese Labor Party, deepen concept exchanges and strategic communication, promote practical cooperation and people-to-people bond, strengthen solidarity and cooperation in international affairs, and jointly implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and President Denis Sassou Nguesso, so as to lead the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries to a new high.

Ondongo highly praised that the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core led the Chinese people to open up a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. He said, the Congolese Labor Party is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, and learn Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions from the CPC in an in-depth manner, in a bid to lead its people to explore a development path that suits its national condition and jointly safeguard the fundamental interests of developing countries.
