From May 24th to 26th, the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) held here today thematic exchange meetings on national development and youth responsibilities and the future of China-Arab community with a shared future under the 2nd China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum via video link. Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the IDCPC, attended the event and made a concluding speech.

During the exchange meeting themed on national development and youth responsibilities, Xu Yongsheng, Secretary of the Communist Youth League of Shaanxi Provincial Committee; Zhang Shengli, Mayor of Yulin Municipal People's Government of Shaanxi Province; Han Zhibin, Director of Institute of Middle Eastern Studies of Northwest University; and Chen Sa, Deputy Director of the Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention of Shaanxi Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention shared the stories of Chinese youth's growth and how they shouldered their responsibilities. Li Chen, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum and Wang Guangda, Executive Director of the China-Arab Reform and Development Research Center made speeches on promoting the development of China-Arab strategic partnership and building a China-Arab community with a shared future at the exchange meeting themed on the future of China-Arab community with a shared future.

Representatives from the Arab side highly appreciated the great achievements China has made under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core. They wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success. Speaking positively of China's long-standing just stance on the Middle East issue, they thanked China for providing strong development support and selfless anti-pandemic assistance for Arab States. They also expressed Arab youth’s willingness to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with Chinese youth, build their own countries side by side, and jointly create a better future.

Zhu spoke positively of the consensus and achievements reached at this forum, saying that the sound and stable development of China-Arab strategic partnership in the new era needs the joint participation and continuous efforts of young leaders from China and Arab States. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Arab side to continue to ensure the success of the platforms such as the China-Arab Young Leaders Forum and the Arab States youth club, so as to promote exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and Arab youth, deepen mutual learning, and join hands to build a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era.

A joint initiative of the Second China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum was adopted at the event.
