Li Mingxiang Attends Closing Ceremony of the Former Liberation Movements of Southern Africa Leading Cadres Workshop 2022 at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School

Tanzania, June 1st— The Closing Ceremony of the Former Liberation Movements of Southern Africa Leading Cadres Workshop 2022 at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School was held here today. Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Abdullah Juma Sadala, deputy secretary general of Tanzania's ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi, attended and addressed the function online and offline respectively.

Li congratulated on the complete success of the workshop, and thanked the support of the six parties, particularly Tanzania Chama Cha Mapinduzi, for hosting the workshop. He said, the Chinese side is willing to work with the six parties to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the top leaders of the six parties, continue to ensure the success of the workshop, support the construction and development of the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School, deepen experience exchange and mutual learning in state governance and administration, help the six parties enhance governance capacity and explore development paths, and work together to build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.

Sadala thanked the CPC for holding the workshop. He said, the workshop is a good platform for the six parties and the CPC to exchange experience in party building and state governance. It has provided a valuable opportunity for the middle-aged and young cadres of the six parties to learn Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and its successful practices in an in-depth way, derive wisdom and strength therefrom, and push the causes of their own parties. He encouraged the young generation of the six parties to pick up the baton of Africa-China friendship and make new contributions to developing the friendly cause between Africa and China.
