Beijing, June 8th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held here today a video call with Lim Ban Hong, Vice President of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) and Vice Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia.

Chen introduced General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Conference of the 70th Anniversary of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit in an in-depth way. Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Chen expressed the CPC’s willingness to strengthen the exchange of experience in party governance and state administration with the MCA, enrich the connotation of cooperation, and make positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries and building an open regional economy.

Commending the world-renowned achievements made by the CPC in governing the Party and rejuvenating the country over the past century, Lim wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success. He said that the MCA attaches great importance to developing its friendly relations with the CPC, and is willing to deepen all-round exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties to facilitate the development of China-Malaysia relations, and jointly promote regional openness, inclusiveness and cooperation under the principle of multilateralism.
