Li Mingxiang Attends the Seminar Organized by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and IPAC

Beijing, June 22nd—Li Mingxiang, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended and addressed here today upon invitation a seminar on strengthening cooperation among political parties and promoting harmony and integration organized by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and the Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC). Cui Jianchun, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Engr. Yabagi Y. Sani, National Chairman of the IPAC, and other leaders from 18 political parties in Nigeria including Senator Iyiola Omisore, National Secretary of All Progressive Congress, and Senator Sam Anyanwun, National Secretary of People Democratic Party attended the seminar.

Li introduced the principles and philosophies of the CPC's external relations, and introduced the achievements and experiences of the CPC's state governance and administration in the new era with the 20th CPC National Congress to be held this year. He expressed the CPC's willingness to deepen inter-party exchanges with the IPAC and political parties in Nigeria, promote practical cooperation between the two countries, jointly safeguard world peace and build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Leaders of the political parties in Nigeria expressed their willingness to learn from the successful experiences of the CPC in poverty alleviation, development of democratic politics and anti-corruption, and their willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to promote the sustainable and in-depth development of the strategic partnership between the two countries, and wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success.
