Beijing, July 24th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had a video call here today with Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the Mongolian People's Party and Mongolian Prime Minister at request.

Oyun-Erdene said, Mongolia attaches great importance to developing good-neighborly and friendly relations with China and hopes to strengthen high-level contacts with the Chinese side and implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state. The Mongolian side is willing to, together with the Chinese side, align its new revival policy with China's 14th Five-Year Plan, and constantly improve bilateral cooperation mechanism, promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, especially in energy, electricity, ports and other fields, and strengthen the friendly exchanges between the two peoples, so as to build Mongolia-China relations into a model of state-to-state relations.

Oyun-Erdene said, the CPC has led the Chinese people to achieve great success in China's development and provided valuable experience for the development of Asian countries. The Mongolian People's Party and the CPC have maintained close exchanges for a long time, which has played an important role in the development of relations between the two countries. The Mongolian People's Party is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and make greater contributions to development of bilateral relations and peaceful development in the region. The Mongolian People's Party pays great attention to the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress, and wishes the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success.

Liu said that in recent years, the strategic communication and political mutual trust between China and Mongolia has been constantly deepened, and bilateral practical cooperation in various fields has enjoy in-depth development. President Xi Jinping and President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh have reached the important consensus on further enriching the connotation of China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership in the context of the times, which has charted the course for the further development of bilateral relations. Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, the Chinese side is willing to work with the Mongolian side to enhance political mutual trust, consolidate good-neighborliness and friendship, intensify practical cooperation, and promote the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative to align with Mongolia's Development Road initiative and the new revival policy, in a bid to better benefit the two peoples.

Liu said, in recent years, the CPC has maintained high-quality exchanges with the Mongolian People's Party. At present, both Parties are standing at the starting point of a new century-long journey, and facing the pandemic and the changes unseen in a century. Both Parties should strengthen strategic communication, deepen experience exchange in party building and state administration, expand the content of communication, understand and support each other on issues involving the core interests and major concerns of both sides, jointly maintain regional peace and stability, and promote common development.

Huang Zhiqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, attended the meeting and put forward his views and suggestions on local cooperation, port construction, customs clearance and other fields between Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Mongolia.
