Shen Beili Attends Opening Ceremony of Webinar for Cadres of Marxist Parties in Latin America

Beijing, July 20th—Shen Beili, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today the opening ceremony of the webinar for the cadres of the Marxist parties in Latin America and delivered a speech. Ignacio Mendoza, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Bolivia, delivered a speech on behalf of the Marxist parties in Latin America. 70 leaders from 15 Marxist parties in 12 Latin American countries attended the event via video link. Shen positively spoke of the important contributions made by the Marxist parties in Latin America to promoting the economic and social development of their respective countries, maintaining world peace and stability, and promoting fairness and justice. Shen mainly introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. Shen said, under the new situation, the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with the Marxist parties in Latin America and continue to promote theoretical and practical innovation on Marxism, so as to let the truth of Marxism shine on the mankind’s way to pursue liberation and development. Mendoza spoke highly of the value of times and world significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. He said, against the backdrop of the COVID-19 epidemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the practical significance of Marxism in promoting the establishment of a fair and equitable international order has become more prominent. The Marxist parties in Latin America are ready to strengthen solidarity and cooperation with the CPC to jointly push the cause of progress of mankind for continuous development. Enditem |
