Samdech Techo Hun Sen said, building the Cambodia-China community with a shared future is a correct choice made by the CPP and the Cambodian government and people. In the face of complex and fast-changing international and regional situations, risks and challenges, Cambodia and China have always supported each other, worked together, and resolutely championed respective national sovereign and independence, and safeguarded security and development interests. When the Cambodian side was in difficulty, the Chinese side has always lent a helping hand immediately. When the Cambodian side is resolving its development problems, China has always been the first one that came to its mind. China strongly supported Cambodia in the fight against the COVID-19 and provided critical help for the country in its efforts to safeguarded people's lives and health and social stability and its efforts to realize economic recovery. The Cambodian side firmly adheres to the one-China principle, and firmly opposes any words and practices that infringe on China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. It will continue to firmly support China in safeguarding its core interests. This position will never change.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen noted, the "ironclad" friendship between Cambodia and China has been deeply rooted in the two countries. Recent years have witnessed rapid growth of bilateral trade, smooth progress and fruitful results of the major projects under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which have brought tangible benefits to the Cambodian people. The Cambodian side hopes to deepen exchanges and cooperation between both countries in various areas, and push the construction of the BRI for more results. Important initiatives, such as the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative, proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping have made significant contributions to peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region and the world at large. Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked the Chinese side for giving Cambodia huge support and assistance in hosting the Asia-Europe Meeting and the foreign ministers' meetings on East Asian cooperation and fulfilling its responsibility as the rotating ASEAN chair for 2022. He said the Cambodian side is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with China in international and regional affairs, promote ASEAN-China relations, accelerate the building of the ASEAN-China community with a shared future, protect regional cooperation from external interferences and better safeguard regional peace and stability.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated the Chinese people on the great achievements made under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success. He stressed, in the context of the complicated international and regional situations, the CPP attaches high importance to strengthening its relations with the CPC, and is willing to further plan the roadmap of the development of relations between the two Parties, deepen experience and mutual learning in party building and state governance, push practical cooperation between the two countries in various areas for more results, and jointly cope with complex challenges.

Liu said, China and Cambodia are comprehensive strategic cooperative partners and a community with a shared future. Maintaining our ever-lasting friendship and jointly building the China-Cambodia community with a shared future conform to the joint aspirations of the two people and the trend of the times, and are the shared fundamental interests of both sides. As the changes unseen in a century evolve more rapidly, the Chinese side is willing to, together with the Cambodian side, cope with risks and challenges, and safeguard and expand common interests. The CPC is always a trustworthy and reliable friend of the CPP in its efforts to realize long-term national stability. In the face of the complex difficulties and challenges of recovery of the global economy, China is willing to, together with the Cambodian side, deepen cooperation in major projects of the BRI and practical cooperation in all aspects.

Liu said, Cambodia now witnesses political and social stability, remarkable results in epidemic prevention and control, rapid recovery of economic and social development, continuous improvement of people's livelihood, and rising international statue. The CPP has led Cambodia to embark on a successful development path, winning high praise from the Cambodian people. At present, the development of relations between the two Parties face new opportunities and missions. We are ready to work with the CPP to intensify high-level exchanges, strengthen communication and mutual learning, propel people-to-people and cultural cooperation, consolidate the ruling foundation of both Parties, and push the exchanges and cooperation between our two Parties to new levels and for new prospects. We are ready to push China-Cambodia relations in the new era and the construction of our community with a shared future for greater progress, bring the two peoples more fruitful results, and boost regional development and prosperity.

Liu expressed, China and Cambodia have set an example of state-to-state relations featuring mutual respect and support. The Chinese side thanks the Cambodian side for firmly adhering to the one-China principle, and always firmly supporting the Chinese side on issues regarding China's core interests. The Chinese side has also supported Cambodia in following a development path suited to its national conditions, and all the efforts of CPP in realizing economic and social stability and long-term stability of the country.

Liu noted, the BRI, the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping aim to realize common development and security of the region and the world at large, and aim for the benefits of people of all countries. The ASEAN-centered regional cooperation framework is critical for maintaining regional peace and stability. The Chinese side is willing to work with all countries of ASEAN, including Cambodia, to practice true multilateralism, achieve solidarity, cooperation, mutual benefits and win-win results, and jointly build the China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
