Liu spoke highly of Pimentel's contributions to promoting the development of China-Philippines relations and exchanges between the political parties of the two countries. The Philippines adheres to the one-China principle and also hopes to properly handle differences in the South China Sea issue through friendly diplomacy. Inter-party relations play a key role in the development of Philippines-China relations, and PDP-Laban is willing to strengthen friendly exchanges and exchanges of experience in state governance and administration with the CPC, facilitate friendly cooperation between the two countries through inter-party channels to share opportunities, achieve common development, promote bilateral friendship, and promote the healthy and stable development of Philippines-China relations.

Liu said, General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly pointed out that the CPC will unite and lead the Chinese people to promote the uniquely Chinese path to modernization in an in-depth way and make new contributions to the exploration of the paths to modernization for mankind.
