Liu said that the Chinese and Arabic civilizations add radiance and beauty to each other, and the friendship between China and the Arab states has withstood the test of time and grown even stronger. In the new era, General Secretary Xi Jinping and leaders of Arab countries proposed the establishment of a China-Arab future-oriented strategic partnership of comprehensive cooperation and common development, charting the course for the development of China-Arab States ties. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Arab side to strengthen strategic communication, promote integration of interests, firmly support each other on issues involving the core interests of either side, implement the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and the Global Security Initiative (GSI) and practice true multilateralism to safeguard common interests of developing countries and inject more positive energy into regional peace and development.

Liu said that the Communist Party of China (CPC) and political parties and organizations in the Arab states have maintained friendly exchanges. He hoped that both sides will make good use of platforms such as the China-Arab Political Parties Dialogue, the China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum and the Belt and Road exchange mechanism for political parties of China and the Arab states, to increase experience exchanges and mutual learning on state governance and administration, resolutely pursue development paths that suit national conditions, promote mutually beneficial cooperation between both sides across the board, assist in respective national development and rejuvenation, and join hands to build a community with a shared future for China and the Arab states in the new era.

Diplomatic envoys of the Arab countries to China said that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, China has made remarkable achievements in economic and social developments, including poverty-alleviation and other fields. The GDI and the GSI put forth by General Secretary Xi Jinping conform to the call of the times and the aspirations of the peoples of all countries, and are significant contributions to world peace and development of all countries. The Arab side is willing to actively respond to and implement the GDI and the GSI, intensify cooperation with China on economy, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, science, technology, and other fields to improve strategic cooperation between Arab countries and China, strengthen cooperation within multilateral frameworks such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and jointly promote the construction of a global community of shared development and a community with a shared future for mankind. The envoys expressed the willingness to actively promote exchanges of experience on party building and state governance between political parties and organizations in Arab states and the CPC, facilitate the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, promote the civilization dialogue between Arab countries and China and push  friendly relations between Arab countries and China for continuous development. They said, the Arab side firmly supports China’s position on the Taiwan question and issues related to Xinjiang, Hong Kong and human rights, and will continue to uphold the one-China principle. Arab envoys wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success.
