Liu said, the CPC attaches great importance to the strategic dialogue with the Socialist International. In recent years, the two sides have conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as promoting sustainable development and addressing global challenges, which has enhanced mutual understanding and trust, and promoted international cooperation in related fields. Now the world is entering a new period of turbulence and transformation. As the world's largest ruling party and the international organization of political parties, the CPC is willing to, together with the Socialist International, continue to enhance exchanges, deepen exchanges on ideas and concepts, and jointly promote international cooperation in areas such as the Belt and Road cooperation, climate change, and poverty alleviation, so as to better shoulder the important responsibilities as a political party and better benefit the people of all countries.

Liu said, under the new situation, the international community's desire for peaceful development, fairness, justice, and win-win cooperation has become more urgent. The Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to promoting sustainable development of the world and addressing global security challenges. The CPC is willing to work with the progressive forces around the world, including the Socialist International to promote the common values of mankind, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations, practice true multilateralism, foster a more fair and equitable international order, and make contributions as a political party to building a community with a shared future for mankind and a better world.

Papandreou said, the CPC's adherence to the people-centered philosophy of development and great development achievements China made under the leadership of CPC, especially the elimination of absolute poverty, set an example for the development of other countries. The Socialist International values the strategic dialogue with the CPC and actively supports the important international initiatives proposed by the Chinese side. It is hoped that the two sides will deepen exchanges and mutual learning, promote international cooperation in digital economy, the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, climate change, public health, women, young people and other fields, uphold multilateralism and international justice, and jointly address global challenges, so as to play an active role in promoting world peace, development and prosperity. Papandreou wished the 20th CPC National Congress a complete success.
