Zhu Rui spoke positively of the enthusiastic participation of Arab youth in this competition and introduced them the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress at the ceremony, focusing on a Chinese path to modernization, the people-centered philosophy, whole-process people’s democracy, and the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind. Zhu said that 2022 is an extraordinary year. During this year, the 20th CPC National Congress was convened successfully, which drew an ambitious blueprint for advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization. The first China-Arab States Summit  was successfully held in Saudi Arabia, where President Xi Jinping proposed for the first time the spirit of China-Arab friendship featuring “solidarity and mutual assistance, equality and mutual benefit, and inclusiveness and mutual learning”. It is hoped that all contestants and young people will actively be the inheritors of the China-Arab friendship spirit, the participants of eight major cooperation initiatives between China and Arab countries, the builders of a China-Arab community with a shared future, and the disseminators of the stories of China-Arab friendship.

Dr. Bassam Abu Abdallah, Director of the Central Party School of the Syrian Baath Party, Mohammad Alloush, Politburo member of The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, Abdelali El Boujidi, Member of the National Bureau of the Socialist Youth League of Morocco, and other Arab participants once again congratulated the 20th CPC National Congress on its complete success, expressed appreciation for China’s optimization and adjustment of pandemic prevention and control measures, and shared their understanding of the real China and the CPC from different perspectives based on their own experience. They said that under the leadership of the CPC, Chinese modernization has achieved great success, which provides inspirations for Arab countries and also exerts a profound impact on Arab youth’s correct understanding of the world and the future. The first China-Arab States Summit, held at the end of last year, is of historic significance. The young people in Arab countries and China are expected to strengthen the exchange of experience in economy, culture and education and make greater contributions to building a Arab-China community with a shared future.
