Liu Jianchao said that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Ebrahim Raisi, China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership has developed steadily. Yesterday, the two heads of state had a successful meeting and reached important consensus. We should take this visit as an opportunity to actively implement their consensus and promote the comprehensive cooperation plan between China and Iran. The CPC attaches importance to maintaining friendly exchanges with Iranian political parties and political organizations. In accordance with the course set by the two heads of state, we should continue to enhance strategic mutual trust and friendship, and firmly support each other on issues involving our core interests and major concerns. China is advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization. China is willing to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with Iran in poverty eradication, modernization, anti-corruption and other aspects, so as to achieve common development, push for new progress in our comprehensive strategic partnership, and better benefit the two peoples.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran and China have a long history of friendship. No matter how the international situation evolves, Iran’s determination to friendly cooperate with China will not change. Iran values developing friendly relations with the CPC. And the Expediency Discernment Council and the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations (SCFR) have maintained close interactions with the IDCPC. Iran looks forward to working with China to implement the important consensus reached between President Ebrahim Raisi and President Xi Jinping during President Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to China, strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration, foster cooperation in various fields, and intensify personnel exchanges to bring tangible benefits to the two peoples. Iran highly appreciates the major international initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping and believes they carry great significance for promoting mankind's development and progress. Iran firmly adheres to the one-China principle, supports China in safeguarding its core interests, and hopes to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China in international and regional affairs, so as to oppose unilateralism and hegemonism, and maintain regional peace and stability.
