Liu said, China and Denmark are comprehensive strategic partners and share broad common interests. At present, bilateral relations develop steadily. China has formulated an economic and social development plan during the ongoing two sessions of National People's Congress (NPC) and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and will continue to expand high-level opening up, and steadily advance the central tasks set by the 20th CPC National Congress. The Chinese side is willing to seize opportunities with the Danish side to strengthen cooperation in such fields as economy, trade, green transformation, scientific and technological innovation, and public health, so as to jointly build high-quality partnerships. It is hoped that the Danish side will play a constructive role in promoting stable and healthy development of China-European　Union  (EU) relations and jointly respond to global challenges.

Liu said, the CPC maintains different forms of contacts with political parties of Denmark. We are willing to continue to strengthen exchanges with political parties of Denmark, exchange and learn from each other's experience in state governance and administration, deepen anti-corruption cooperation, continuously enhance political mutual trust and mutual understanding, and inject new impetus into the development of China-Denmark relations.

Jeppe said, Denmark and China have enjoyed friendly relations for a long time. The new Danish government views relations with China from a long-term perspective, attaches great importance to inter-party exchanges between the two sides, and hopes to strengthen high-level exchanges and promote bilateral cooperation in areas including green development, climate change, reform and population ageing, to promote Danish-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership. Denmark supports economic globalization and free trade, opposes "decoupling and disconnection", hopes to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side in international and regional affairs, and is willing to play a positive role in promoting EU-China relations.

Both sides also exchanged views on the Ukraine issue.
