Qian said that China and Laos are friendly socialist neighbors linked by the same mountains and rivers. In recent years, under the strategic planning and personal guidance of the top leaders of both parties and countries, the China-Laos relations have been operating at a high level. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Lao side to continue strengthening exchanges and cooperation, and jointly promote the building of the China-Laos community with a shared future. Qian also briefed the Lao side on the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the “two sessions”.

Thongvanh Thammavong, head of the Lao delegation, Member of the Standing Committee of LPRP Provincial Committee of Xaisomboun and Minister of the Xaisomboun Provincial Organization Department, expressed that the Lao side is willing to work with the Chinese side to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of both parties and countries. The Lao side will earnestly study and discuss China's good experiences and practices, and bring them back to Laos, so as to jointly build a bridge of friendship between Laos and China.
