On March 24, China-Brazil poverty alleviation and rural revitalization forum and enterprise matchmaking meeting was held via video link. Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Cheng Lihua, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, Fernanda Machiaveli, Executive Secretary of Ministry of Agricultural Development and Family Agriculture of Brazil, Osmar Júnior, Executive Secretary of Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger of Brazil, and Jade Afonso Romero, Deputy Governor of Ceara of Brazil attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Romero said, Ceara is taking various measures to promote economic development and eradicate poverty and social inequality.
