Liu said, the recent successful meeting between General Secretary Xi Jinping and visiting Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has brought bilateral relations into a new channel of building a community with a shared future. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Malaysia's Progressive Democratic Party and other Malaysian political parties, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, promote the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, facilitate cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, and tourism, as well as cooperation at local levels, strengthen non-governmental cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, and jointly pursue a path of development with Asian characteristics, so as to push China-Malaysia relations for greater development.

Liu said, in recent years, President Xi Jinping has successively proposed the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative, contributing China's wisdom and strength to the world's prosperous and stable development. The peace and stability, as well as the sustained economic growth in Asia, particularly in East Asia, can largely be attributed to the diverse and inclusive cultures of the region. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Malaysian side to promote the implementation of these initiatives. The CPC is ready to strengthen exchanges of experience with the Progressive Democratic Party on party building and state administration and learn from each other to better promote the development of the two Parties and the two countries.

Tiong King Sing expressed his gratitude for the Chinese side's warm and friendly reception to Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and highlighted the fruitful outcomes of the visit. The Malaysian side is willing to take opportunity of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Malaysia and China this year and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year to promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields and to push Malaysia-China relations for greater development. The Malaysian side appreciates China's significant role as a force for peace and stability in Asia and the world and actively supports and responds to the Belt and Road Initiative. The Malaysian side hopes to make good use of the favorable conditions brought about by the Chinese side's adjustments to its COVID response policies, fully restore exchanges in the areas including culture and tourism with the Chinese side, strengthen cooperation in tourism infrastructure, personnel training, and technical exchanges, jointly hold the Malaysia-China cultural festival and folk festival, and make good use of Malaysia's linguistic and multicultural advantages to promote mutual understanding between the two peoples, contributing to the relations between the two countries and the peace and stability of Asia through inter-party channels.
