Qian Hongshan Meets with Diplomatic Envoys from Western European Countries to China

Beijing, May 5th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with diplomatic envoys from Western European countries to China attending a seminar on "Chinese modernization and China-European Union (EU) relations in the new era". Qian stated that we have seen frequent high-level exchanges between China and EU recently, with dialogue and cooperation in various fields. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with the EU side, enhance mutual understanding, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation, so as to further consolidate the positive development momentum of China-EU relations. The EU side expressed their gratitude to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee for organizing the seminar on Chinese modernization, noting that Chinese modernization will further promote China's comprehensive development and open up new prospects for China-EU cooperation.
