Qian spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties. He said, both the CPC and the PCP uphold the ideals and beliefs of communism, adhere to the original mission of seeking happiness for the people and progress for mankind, and explore development paths suitable to our respective national realities. The CPC is ready to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the PCP to promote the stable and long-term development of China-Portugal and China-European Union relations.

Raimundo said, during this visit to China, the delegation gained a more thorough understanding of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and its great practice. The PCP firmly stands with the CPC and the Chinese people, and looks forward to greater victories of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and hopes the greater victories will vigorously promote socialism in the world for great development.
